Residential Rodent Control in Jerome
Most of our Jerome work is residential. Homes here range from 1920s miner's cabins to newer builds on the hillside, and each type has its own rodent problems. Older homes have more entry points. Newer homes have tighter construction but still get roof rats through the roofline. Families with kids and pets want solutions that do not put anyone at risk, which is why we default to traps and exclusion before bait. We also handle the cleanup, because removing the animals is only half the job.
We set traps in the attic and crawl space, check them every two to three days, and remove carcasses the same day. In Jerome's hillside homes, crawl spaces often have multiple access points, so we map them during the inspection before placing anything.
Exclusion is the permanent fix. We seal foundation vents, soffit gaps, plumbing penetrations, and roofline openings with copper mesh, hardware cloth, and exclusion sealant. Most Jerome homes have 8 to 15 entry points that need closing.
After removal, we bag droppings, treat surfaces with disinfectant and enzyme cleaner, and replace contaminated insulation. This is the step most homeowners forget, and it is the one that gets rid of the odor and the health risk.
We come back at 30 days to confirm no new activity and to check that the seals are holding. If anything has shifted, we fix it. Jerome's temperature swings can work sealant loose over time, so the follow-up matters.
- Same-day response for most Jerome calls placed before noon.
- Traps and exclusion first, bait only where it is legal and necessary.
- Full cleanup included so you are not left with droppings or odor.
