Residential Rodent Control in Dateland
Most of our Dateland work is residential. Homes here range from older block houses near the town center to manufactured homes on agricultural parcels and newer stucco builds. Each type has its own rodent vulnerabilities. Block homes have wall voids that pack rats love. Manufactured homes have skirting gaps and under-floor access. Newer builds have roofline gaps that open up as the heat expands and contracts materials. We treat each home as its own case, inspect thoroughly, and seal what we find. If you are dealing with rats in the attic or mice in the kitchen, we can help.
We inspect the attic, locate the runs, and set snap traps and live catch traps in the right spots. Traps are checked every three to five days until activity stops. Then we seal the entry points. Most Dateland attic jobs clear in two to four visits.
We seal roofline gaps, vent openings, plumbing penetrations and block wall voids with copper mesh, steel wool, hardware cloth and exclusion sealant. Dateland heat requires high-temperature materials, which we use as standard. Exclusion usually takes three to six hours.
After a long infestation, we remove droppings and contaminated insulation in sealed dropping bags, treat the attic with disinfectant and enzyme cleaner, and replace damaged insulation. This is what gets rid of the rodent urine odor. Most cleanups take one full day.
Mice in Dateland kitchens get into food stores and leave droppings behind appliances. We set snap traps and glue boards along the wall runs, seal entry points with steel wool and caulk, and clean contaminated surfaces. Most mouse jobs clear in one to two weeks.
